After the internet was stormed yesterday with post and news about Bucky’s management refusal to accept the 1K planned budget from MTN Liberia Music Awards for him to perform on their award show this year, Bucky kept coming in defense of his management stating several reasons why his team requested 10K instead of 1K for him to appear on MLMA stage.

Early this morning a post on his timeline got fan amazed about how can an award platform under the sponsorship of Lonestar Cell MTN disrespect and disregard the value of Bucky Raw’s crafts/arts after their key sponsor had already disregarded and cancelled a well planned and organized deal.

Bucky took to his Facebook handle to accuse Lonestar Cell MTN of secretly cancelling a deal they were to seal with him some months back because of personal interest. According to the rapper, he was to become the brand ambassador of Lonestar Cell MTN Mobile Money and all was set for the deal to go on. But all of a sudden they announce a new brand ambassador without his knowledge after he knew that he had just days left to be the new Lonestar Cell Mobile Money brand ambassador.

Well, his fans didn’t take it as an allegation but a gross disrespect to the artist by Lonestar Cell MTN.

Alieu J Pusah Said:

“Biggest respect to you my favorite!!
You can\’t work with the system that\’s working against you..

If they wanna get you perform let them get those papers as requested, other than that is a NO NO.
Bucky”

Kwelleh Dolleh Said:

“I think there is a need for compromise in any deal. As an artist and business person you got to give room for flexibility and negotiation and renegotiation. Now the other party might say something you don\’t agree with but you also have to listen to their side and concern in a respectful way and come to a conclusive agreement.

Liberia is still growing artistically, we shouldn\’t expect or compare with others for know. The reasons are many. We don\’t have many entrepreneur in showbiz and the population is less. All these are factors to consider before arriving at a final judgement.

Finally, it is not a good idea to take contract discussion on social when negotiation is still on going cause the other party might be willing to change or make some concession.
Da little advice from my experience in biz.”

“Sorry to say Bucky, but don’t expect anyone to make you the face of their brand considering your past… Your life in America for which you were deported isn’t something anyone can boast of…, you’re from America, you know the number of business deals Chris Brown lost when he brutalized Rihanna his girlfriend then.

You need time to rebuild your integrity… until then, I don’t even expect you to complain about someone withdrawing business deal with you. You’re living the consequence of your mistakes…. and I hope you redeem yourself in the nearest possible time.
Regarding you charging 10k, bro you’re very talented, in fact, you are the best rapper ever from Liberia.

Truth be told, you don’t worth that amount on a single show in Liberia… I bet, you have never generated said amount on any show you hosted in Liberia, why charge up to that??? Work hard bro, you will worth more than that, you have the prospects….
Lastly, when you will drop our CS3??? I tiya waitin hoo…
☹️
