Petroleum Tanker Explosion On Water Street Leaves Several Homes And Stores Destroyed.

A Fire incident on water street yesterday evening left several homes and business destroyed. Eye witnesses confirmed that the fire started after a tanker carrying petroleum fell over and exploded into flames. The fire eventually began spreading to the surrounding houses and stores close it. Causing a Serious stir and dark cloud of smoke as residents and stores owners could do nothing more than stand and watch their properties and goods vanish into flames.

Thanks to the intervention of the Liberia National Fire Service who with all their might fought and put off the fire restoring calm to water street.

So far, no casualty has been reported by the relevant authorities. But it is noted that up to eight stores got burned as the result of the fire.
