Starting afresh for a mainstream entertainer is a good but difficult journey. The fact that it helps you clear your head, see things a bit differently and from different dimensions, it can still be denied that there are lots of challenges.
First off, being able to muster enough courage to make that decisions to start from scratch, is the toughest decision ever to make in the career of a mainstream entertainer. Looking at how far you’ve come with your team, and what all you’ve achieved; it takes only a determined person, one whose mind is open for new innovations and to experience new things whilst accepting to bear all the weight of managerial and self responsibilities at the same time.
But when you do leave that label that made you achieve everything, and made you gained prominence, you got to be ready to stand strong by yourself; to fight and maintained that prominence once again also managing to sustain yourself adequately.
It is the same in the case of CIC. Sounds of Greatness (SOG), picked him up at the earlier stage of his career, nurtured, and supported his game to the highest and secure all the best contracts and concerts they could get for him. Slowly he became a household name.
Some days ago, hearing about his departure from SOG came as a shock. Some things that may have pondered many fans and entertainment pundits were: “why is he leaving?”, “where is he going?” and “how will he make it without SOG?”.
But eventually he got out and is starting afresh. Announcing the establishment of his own record label “Cralorboi Empire” and releasing his first song as an individual artist tagged “Pon It” which is already making waves throughout the entertainment arena of Liberia.
It’s obvious that he has greater plans for his new beginning with a Major one being the release of his most anticipated studio album “Local Champion”.
With the release date still unknown, the superstar is requesting aid from all his loyal fans and supporters to help him make the album a successful one as he plans on releasing all the songs on the album along with the video.
CIC posted via his IG Story that he needs sponsors for the videos of his new album. And is humbly asking for help.
