Liberian international soccer star and captain of the National Soccer Team, Sam Johnson and Sabah FA have mutually parted ways with Sam preparing to undergo a knee surgery which will rule him out for two months.
Meanwhile the club has opted to replace him with Croatian striker Josip Ivancic who will continue the rest of the season with them.
The Malaysian league allows clubs to register five foreign players only. The league will end the first week in August when Sam will start his recovery process. Sam scored two goals in 10 games for the club.
