Former warlord and senator of nimba county Prince Y. Johnson has grown more furious over continuous calls for the establishment of a War and Economic Crimes court in Liberia by montserrado Senator Abraham Darius Dillion anytime they cross roads.

In an interview with the press just after a section in chambers at the Liberian Senate yesterday, Prince Jonson expressed complete disappointment and stated that he will deal with Senator Dillion if and only if the only time he has to talk about war crimes court is when they meet or are in chambers enumerating on national issues.

In the interview he said “Deal with the issue on the agenda. But this boy, who has his own record against him…anytime he see\’s me he talks about War Crime Court! Prince Johnson, War Crime Court…,”

He went further by trying to defend the reason why he played the role he played in the Liberian civil war that took the lives of an estimated 250,000.

His defense statement was “When they were killing the people of Nimba what did you want us to do. That’s why I said, if you talk again I will get to you,” Senator Johnson angrily said. Although he refused to explain to the press what he meant by he will deal with senator Dillion, Senator Johnson who is now a pastor again warned, “If you want disruption it will happen. Because they slaughtered my people, they killed the children, they slaughtered people and declared Nimba enemy of the state…and deployed all the dirty weapons in Nimba and slaughtered. And so we had to fight! We fught in defense. So, if you want bring War Crime Court, bring your damn War Crime Court…”

Establishing the fact that the War Crimes Court is not solely to prosecute him alone, Senator Johnson, a former warlord turned pastor retorted, “ But they always think its mine. They always think its for me. Bring it. I know its not coming. It is not the way to bring War Crimes Court. You go through processes, legal processes. You don’t talk about things on the floor when you see me. Every time he sees me, it\’s when he talks about war crimes court\” he angrily told journalists.

\"\"

The discussion on the floor before the mentioning of the war crimes court by senator Dillion was centered around the alleged failure of some officials to honor invitation from the Senate with specific reference to misgivings over the stimulus package.

Sen. Dillon through his argument got angry over how the situation is being handled and reference it also to the same delay in the establishment of the war and economic crimes court. Now the ex senator of Nimba; Pst. Prince Johnson who always comes out to defend this argument about the war and economic crimes court establishment got furious over Sen. Dillon\’s statement and left Chambers immediately while session was still ongoing.

It was at this time he was meet by the press on grounds and he then accused Senator Dillon of always raising the argument about the establishment of the war and economic crimes court when and where ever he, Sen. Johnson is present. But he further lamented that the establishment of the war and economic crimes court in Liberia is a big bluff and a joke stating that such court can never be established in the country. Clarifying the fact that he also has no regrets over his role played in the war, justifying that his action was meant to liberate the people of Nimba County who were being gruesomely murdered in their numbers on a daily basis and this is how he is highly hailed and respects by his people.
