Great news coming from the meeting of President Weah, CAF’s President and FIFA President states that the ban imposed on the state official stadium Samuel Kanyon Die Sports Complex (SKD) has been lifted. In President Weah’s meeting with FIFA and CAF Presidents, CAF president Patrice Motsepe assured that SKD won’t be banned.
In his statement Mr. Motsepe clearly stated “Liberia is my home. CAF suspending Liberia’s stadium is a serious embarrassment to me as a person and is like suspending CAF stadium as well. Stadium problems in Africa is not only for Countries but also for CAF. We are here to help African football and not to suppress it. We need to solve this together; we are gonna work together in solving these problems together instead of suspending Countries for stadium problems. We gonna upgrade the SKD…”
Thereby making all clarities that the African football governing body will do all and it’s weakest ways to improve or upgrade SKD to international standards inorder to make it fully capacitated to host a World Cup qualifier March or any major international game.
But the question remains can all this happen within this shirt period of time now that the qualifiers is just few steps ahead??
