Council of Patriots issue “Citizen Arrest” threats to Sen. Prince Y. Johnson and other warlords for their role play in the Liberian civil crisis.

The biggest political opposition block in Liberia, ‘Council of Patriots’ have send out a very clear message threatening to enforce “Citizen Arrest” against Sen. Prince Y. Johnson and several other warlords for their role play in the 14years deadly civil war in Liberia.

Council of Patriots in a press release on today Monday, May 24 stressed out the need that they themselves hand over Prince Johnson to justice since the government is failing to do so. This comes to the wake of what they term as \”Inflammatory comments” made by the Nimba county Senator that is aimed at undermining the establishment of the War And Economic Crimes Court in Liberia.

This plus several other necessary information surrounding the COP and it’s stand in the political arena of the state were fully stressed in their statement. Including a paragraph about the government constant “defamatory” statement made about its leader Mr. Henry P. Costa labeling him as a fugitive of justice. They further warned that if the government have any case against their leader, they have the full rights to diplomatically engage the government of the United States to bring Mr. Costa to justice. If not, they should desist from such deformation of character or the COP will be forced to carry out several unspecified political actions to protect the image of its leader and the institution at large.
