Montserrado County District 10 Representative Yekeh Y Kolubah has filed a lawsuit against the House of Representatives over his Suspension.

Justice-In-Chambers, Associate Justice Joseph Nagbe cited members of the House of Representatives to a conference on over complaint filed by Montserrado County electoral District ten Rep. Yekeh Kolubah against that august body.

The conference is scheduled to take place on Thursday April 22, 2021 at 3pm in the Justice Chambers.

During the week the lower House officially suspended Rep. Kolubah for thirty (30) session or meeting days without pay in keeping with Rule 47c of the House rule.

During Plenary\’s deliberation, Hon Kolubah vowed to seek legal redress if the House suspends him.

The Suspension letter stressed a breach of the house Standing Rules.

Rep. Kolubah was suspended for his unruly behavior and invectives used against the Liberian Presidency. A letter from Hon. Thomas P. Fallah of Montserrado County District 5 triggered the Plenary\’s decision.

Some pundits believe Hon. Kolubah\’s Suspension is politically motivated as such the essence of freedom of speech is undermined.
