The public rose early this morning to news of the arrest of Barsee Mocopala Kiloda by officers of the Liberia National Police. The news went like wild fire with lots of internet fanatics, entertainment pundits and blogs lashing at the LNP for being very absurd by the way they arrested the trapco artist.
In a live interview he did via Facebook while he was being arrested, Barsee said that he woke up to the presence of LNP officers; at his shop, who directly placed him under arrest. He further lamented that he was very calm and law abiding and followed every instruction that was given.
Watch his arrest video here.
But What ever reason he said he was arrested for, and the arrest in itself was very fictitious. As he took to another Facebook live to clear the air on why he went live with a friend and some police officers in what the public saw as an arrest.
He related this prank or better still “scam” to people not giving much attention to his new album and people failing to support the best in the music game. He spoke about how hard he has worked but yet still they are people in the background wishing him to fail and it was to their taste when they heard he was arrested again. As some of them was already talking about how he has been arrested twice and probably for the same reason this time around.
Watch He as he clears the air verifying that the first video was a prank.
To be honest, this prank even got my attention and I know it got yours too. But do you think this is the best way to promote a project? What if there is this same scenario and it happens to be serious? Will people take him seriously?
Well we’ll like to have your thoughts on this.
