The introduction of the mixture of HipHop music and Local Liberian Music done in our pidgin (Hipco) saw the rise of the dominence of Male Artist who were regarded as the backbones of the genre.

Names like; Christoph, Takun J, Luckay Buckay, Mr. Smith, Jon Bricks and you name the rest, were the key players making sure full manifestation of the genre is recognized in the industry. Since the history of music in Liberia, nominees for the Best Hipco Artist of the Year were male only. Thus making the submerging winner to be a man.

\"\"But MC Caro found here way Into every available studio, microphones, and speakers banging Hipco Genre all through the country. She became the first female to be nominated for the Hipco Artist of the Year Award, and subsequently came to victorious with tough male competitors like Christoph, Pascal, JB D\’General, Amaze, and L Frankie.

The SmoovHq frontline artist and power house has been consistent in producing good and quality Hipco vibes. She definitely broke their supremacy over the genre and has paved the way for other female artist who she wants to see this as a motivation for them who have interest in the genre.

Congratulations MC Caro and thanks for the Legacy.
